Legal information about the OpenAEC Foundation and the use of our software.
The OpenAEC Foundation (Stichting OpenAEC Foundation) is established in the Netherlands and is subject to Dutch law. The foundation is a non-profit organization.
All software from the OpenAEC Foundation is released under recognized open source licenses (MIT, LGPL, CC BY-SA). Consult the individual repositories on GitHub for the specific license per project.
Insofar as the OpenAEC Foundation develops software that interoperates with closed (proprietary) file formats, this is done exclusively on the basis of clean room reverse engineering in accordance with the European Software Directive (Directive 2009/24/EC).

The OpenAEC Foundation does not collect personal data through its tools. Tools that run locally process all data on your own device. Our privacy policy applies to hosted services.
